The Equality Plan is mandatory in Spain

  • The Royal Decree-Law 6/2019, of March 1, is implementing measures in companies to guarantee equal treatment and opportunities between women and men in employment and in the workplace by the implementation of an Equity Plan.
  • The equality plans in place before January 14, 2021, will have to be adapted to the provisions of the Royal Decree 901/2020  until January 14, 2022.
