Bufete Conesa Asociados organised, together with Toló & Associats, a socio-employment seminar for companies and their executives, held on 5 July at the Vielha Town Hall.
The speakers at the event were Mr José Conesa Ballestero and Mr Josep Conesa Sagrera. Their presentations focused on aspects of the Labour Reform: they discussed the key changes introduced by the Royal Decree, the measures that encourage hiring, and the flexibility mechanisms that have been put in place.
They also examined the employment contract from a practical standpoint, since the individual contract is a highly useful instrument for governing employment relationships. It is important to understand the full range of clauses it allows, which can bring greater flexibility within the company, for example, provisions making overtime compulsory, or allowing overtime to be compensated with time off in lieu.
